ARROW Arts Collective is a youth performing arts organization dedicated to nurturing and preparing the next generation of artists. We create high-level training and performance experiences for young creatives who are ready to go deeper.
We offer intensives, workshops, and performance opportunities across multiple disciplines, including dance and acting with musical theatre, music, and film launching in future seasons.
Our program is structured around two core goals:
Providing professional-level experiences and performance opportunities in a supportive, educational environment.
Giving students the space to dive deep into skills and topics that aren’t always covered in traditional training settings or that need reinforcement.
We serve students ages 9–18 who have reached a high intermediate or advanced level in their chosen discipline.
Rather than serving as a primary training facility, ARROW is designed to supplement the existing education of students, offering focused programs that refine their skills, deepen their artistic understanding, and provide them with real-world experiences alongside experienced creatives.
Brief one to three day classes that are great for trying something new or refreshing an existing skill.
Fast-paced, hands-on programs perfect for diving deep over a short period of time.
Short-term weekly classes designed for deep growth in a specific skill over time.
Real-world opportunities to apply skills through stage, screen, and studio experiences.
Our mission is to foster an environment where young artists can pursue excellence in their craft while also building character that will serve them in all areas of life. We encourage our students to pursue their passions with confidence, authenticity, discipline, and joy.
Key Pillars:
Artistry
Refinement
Resilience
Opportunity
Wonder
We are dedicated to helping young artists discover and refine their unique voices, enabling them to express themselves through their art with confidence and authenticity.
Through specialized training and expert-led classes, we focus on enhancing the skills our students have developed at their primary training centers, elevating their technique and artistic expression.
At ARROW, we believe in building resilient artists who embrace challenges, aren't afraid to take creative risks, and who view failures as stepping stones toward success.
We aim to provide our students with ample opportunities to engage in professional-level projects and performances. We believe in offering our young artists professional-level experiences that propel them toward their dreams.
We cultivate an environment of limitless imagination where creativity knows no bounds. We encourage our artists to embrace a sense of wonder, where possibilities are endless and their artistic potential is only limited by their imagination.
I’m Loren, the Owner and Director of ARROW Arts Collective, and I’m grateful to contribute to the local arts community through the programs and experiences we offer.
The performing arts have been at the heart of my life from an early age. As a child, I was inspired by the performers I watched both on stage and screen (particularly Shirley Temple) and dreamed of being part of the kinds of productions and films I admired. Those early influences led me to train in dance, acting, musical theatre, and music, where I developed a strong foundation in the arts.
As I grew, I realized that accessing professional-style experiences – the kind I had admired as a child – often required extensive travel, major personal sacrifice, or entering the industry prematurely. This was a realization that stayed with me.
I began teaching dance at 17 while studying Dance and Film at UC Irvine, later continuing my education in Film Directing at Chapman University. During this time, I taught hundreds of students and choreographed for competitive dance teams, which provided me with a meaningful creative outlet. Through this work, I was reminded that while many great opportunities exist within competitive and professional pathways, there are fewer options for young artists seeking high-level, artist-driven experiences beyond those spaces.
This observation is what led to the creation of ARROW Arts Collective.
My goal with ARROW is to create spaces where serious young creatives can explore their artistry, build confidence, and gain professional-level performance experience, while continuing their primary training. I want to bring opportunities directly to students and help them take greater ownership of their creative journeys within a supportive, educational environment.
If you’re passionate about growing and sharing your artistic gifts, we would love to welcome you at ARROW.
We look forward to creating with you!
