Artistry Refinement Resilience Opprotunity Wonder
I vividly remember the moment my love for the arts began. At four years old, I watched Shirley Temple for the first time and was captivated by her acting, singing, and tap dancing. That early fascination quickly blossomed into a lifelong passion. Whether auditioning for my first musical, learning new instruments to join the school band, writing songs in my bedroom, or choreographing dance routines for home performances, the arts have always been at the heart of my life.
When it came time to choose my college path, it felt only natural to continue my studies in the arts. I attended UC Irvine, where I earned a BFA in Dance with a specialization in choreography, along with a BA in Film and Media Studies. I later pursued an MFA in Directing at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.
While my formal education prepared me for my artistic goals, it is teaching youth that has truly sustained my love for the arts. Since the age of 17, I’ve had the opportunity to teach dance to hundreds of students and choreograph for competitive teams, through which I’m grateful to have earned several choreography awards along the way. The most rewarding part of my work, however, is seeing the same passion I had as a young girl reflected in the eyes of my students.
Driven by the desire to create high-level art across multiple disciplines and provide a space for young artists to grow and perform, I founded ARROW Arts Collective. My vision is to offer a place where youthcan refine their skills, collaborate with experienced creatives, and work on meaningful projects. I believe that young, emerging artists deserve more opportunities for growth outside of the competitive or professional spheres. Through ARROW’s workshops, intensives, and performances, my hope is that today’s youth won’t just dream of becoming the artists they admire, but will have the chance to bring those dreams to life and inspire others along the way.
ARROW Arts Collective is a vibrant youth performing arts organization dedicated to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of artists. We provide specialized intensives, workshops, and performance opportunities year-round in diverse artistic disciplines, including dance, musical theater, and film. Our programs are designed for young artists, ages 8-17, who have achieved an intermediate or advanced level in their chosen discipline.
Rather than serving as a primary training facility, ARROW enhances students’ existing training with targeted programs designed to refine their skills, deepen their artistic understanding, and provide real-world performance opportunities alongside experienced creatives
At ARROW, we are committed to fostering artistic growth and personal development through our Key Pillars: Artistry, Refinement, Resilience, Opportunity, and Wonder
We are dedicated to helping young artists discover and refine their unique voices, enabling them to express themselves through their art with confidence and authenticity.
Through specialized training and expert-led classes, we focus on enhancing the skills our students have developed at their primary training centers, elevating their technique and artistic expression.
At ARROW, we believe in building resilient artists—those who embrace challenges, take creative risks, and view failures as stepping stones toward success.
We aim to provide our students with ample opportunities to engage in professional-level projects and performances. Why wait to go pro? We believe in offering our young artists professional-level experiences that propel them toward their dreams.
We cultivate an environment of limitless imagination where creativity knows no bounds. We encourage our artists to embrace a sense of wonder, where possibilities are endless and their artistic potential is only limited by their imagination.
Whether they are refining their technique or perfecting their artistry for the stage or screen, ARROW Arts Collective offers a place where young artists can grow, create, and thrive.
